Whilst the Railway at the End of the World near Ushaia in Argentina, claims to be the most Southerly railway in the world, this is not so.
There are smaller systems on the Antarctic Mainland, pictures of those at Esperanza Base -Argentinian or Hope Bay if British on the Antarctic Penisular, are shown. They are only used for moving stores around and not passengers. Pictures taken in December 2004 on a visit to the base.Brrrr it was Chile (sorry Chilly).
