NEW DEPOT APPROVED FOR HAYLING SEASIDE RAILWAY.

On Thursday 16th October the Planning Committee of Havant Borough Council voted 5-1 IN FAVOUR, of approving the Hayling Seaside Railway’s Planning Application, to relocate its Depot to Eastoke Corner.
THE FUTURE OF THE RAILWAY IS NOW SECURE!
Subject to a small number of achievable conditions laid down by the Council, regarding the final choice of finish, colours and materials. Together with details of the planting and landscaping required, it is hoped that work will start on building the new depot as soon as is practical.
