The Munkedals Järnväg is a museum railway with 600 mm gauge on the Swedish westcoast between Göteborg (Gothenburg)and the Norwegian border.The reason for building The Munkedals Järnväg (MJ) 1894 -96 was that the paper mill in Munkedal needed better transport conditions.
