The Open Day at Alan Keef Ltd in Lea near Ross-on-Wye on September 24th will be the first chance to see the Corris’ new build Falcon 0-4-2ST locomotive in steam, albeit still needing work and fund raising to see it in service in the Dulas Valley.
Alongside the engines, a walk-through-time display of five decades of Alan Keef Ltd will form a central point of the day, offering a fascinating insight into the company’s history.
There will also be an array of trade stands to browse, whilst the newly planted private gardens behind Keef’s works will be open for visitors to enjoy and relax.
