Abergynolwyn Toilets – celebrating 25 years In one of his final acts as Interim Managing Director of the Talyllyn Railway, on Friday 6 May 2016 David Ventry led the commemorations of the 25th anniversary of the official opening of the public toilets at Abergynolwyn station.
Previously passengers had had to walk down the steep drive to the station to the toilets then situated in the car park at the junction with the main road.
The Abergynolwyn toilets were the first step in seriously upgrading our facilities at the time, a course which we have followed ever since and will continue to do so into the future in order to provide a First Class experience for our visitors.’ David concludes his role as Interim Managing Director this week and new General Manager, Tracey Parkinson, will take up her post on Monday 9 May 2016.
