A Day in the Life of a Race Train Over 1,500 runners with their friends and families descended on Tywyn for the 32nd Rotary Club of Tywyn Race the Train.
They were here to compete in the Tynllwyn Challenge, Dolgoch Challenge, Quarry Challenge and the main race – the 14 mile Rotary Challenge following the Talyllyn Railway up the beautiful Fathew Valley.
The race trains were complemented by the usual passenger train service and a relief train to follow behind the main race train.
