• Assembled the loop to Guest House turnout at Quarry Siding and measured and fitted closure rails.
• Completedthe filling of the cross drain West of Brynglas loop with ballast • Removed the pedestals from under the exposed sleepers at Bryn Erwest – dropped some ballast and packed/tamped then filled the bays with ballast • Sorted sleepers at Wharf • Removed the Pandrol plates from the sleepers at Wharf • Completed the lining and levelling work on the back road point at Pendre • Drinking Tea The above work eliminated two speed restrictions and shortened another and returned the loop at Quarry Siding to traffic.
