There was plenty of work taking place around the railway including tidying up the Wharf approach, digging up the back road at Pendre and hedge and tree maintenance up the line.
As our volunteers can testify, our Fathew Valley can have glorious sunshine at Wharf and thunderstorms up the valley.
Thankfully for the gangs working at Wharf, it was sunshine for most of the day.
