After nearly two years away from Tywyn, Talyllyn Railway locomotive No.3 Sir Haydn will be returning home in February 2015.
For the past eighteen months No.3 has been at ‘The Engine House’ at Highley on the Severn Valley Railway, after a successful tour across the country taking in the Great Central Railway and Midland Railway, Butterley.
Ellis Jacklin, the Railway’s Publicity Officer said: ‘We are very grateful to the Severn Valley Railway for looking after No.3 so well over the past months, but now it is time for it to come home for its much needed overhaul.
