Back in the saddle (tank) No 1 Talyllyn was released back into passenger service today on our Victorian Train experience. Possibly tempting fate, she was crewed by Driver Andy and Fireman Jacinta who were on the loco when a detached nut in the cylinder caused extensive damage to the motion earlier in the year.
Thanks to a generous donation from TRPS member Bryce Lee, the repair work was carried out by the Ffestiniog Railway so Talyllyn could be ready in time for her birthday on 24th September 2014.
