The highlight of the week (from the garden railway point of view!) was the Grand Opening of the new Compton Down Railway Museum.
Possibly the smallest museum in Wales, it was formally opened by TR volunteer and National Railway Museum Curator Anthony Coulls.
It even got a mention on the National Railway Museum’s Facebook page.
