No.3 ‘Sir Haydn’ has been confirmed as a special guest at the Severn Valley Railway Autumn Steam Gala, sponsored by ‘Steam Railway’ magazine.
The loco has already visited the Great Central Railway, Great Central Railway – Nottingham, Tyseley Loco Works and is currently visiting the Midland Railway – Butterley.
The news is extra special as No.3 will be winched onto a Weltrol wagon and be pulled along the Bridgnorth – Kidderminster heritage steam railway in a goods train by one of the Severn Valley Railway’s standard gauge steam locomotives.
