Timothy West and Prunella Scales visited the Talyllyn Railway on Sunday 5th May 2013 to officially open `The Guest House’, a new versatile covered storage facility at Quarry Siding.
In his opening speech, TRPS President Richard Hope said that `The Guest House’ will enable the Talyllyn Railway to finally achieve its long term aim of keeping all of its rolling stock under cover.
It seemed apt therefore that as a lasting tribute to Phil and the legacy he left to the railway that a Philadelphus tree was planted alongside `The Guest House’.
