No 2 Dolgoch was in disguise as ‘Pretoria’, the name she had for a few years following the Boer War.
The train was composed of ‘Pretoria’, the original carriages (apart from Carriage No 1) and a few Edwardian passengers to complete the picture.
Normally the train goes up the line in various stages of daylight (and evening if requested) and the train will take part in several runpasts at carefully chosen points of the line to allow the photographers to get the best shots.
