The first of the Friday evening works trains ran on Friday 20th July.
Due to engineering reasons it was not steam hauled as usual so loco 5 Midlander enjoyed an evening out instead.
The five gang members endured a glorious sunny evening as they strimmed between Pendre and Rhydyronen.
