Lots of work on engines over the winter… No 1 Talyllyn is back together and there was also time to repaint the buffer beans and make her look a bit smarter.
The loco working party members had the novel experience of outdoor work as there were sleepers to be dropped off, overhanging branches to be cut down and wood to collect from up the line.
No 6 Douglas – now on her wheels in the works, work is progressing slowly but steadily.
