With a gang of six, the following jobs were completed: Remove ashpans off both engines (lots of parts to take off first to get at them!) Empty boilers, remove mudhole doors and washout plugs, wash out boilers Clean and grease mudhole doors and washout plugs Remove fusible plugs Take off No 7’s air pump Remove blastpipes from the smokebox and clean tubes Clean up and grease all removed parts ready for when they go back on Remove gauge glasses from No 7 Remove No 4’s safety valves ready for checking Tidy the shed Thank you to everyone who helped this weekend.
