Quarry Siding Shed construction work has now started on site. The first task being undertaken is removal of the tipped material from site and excavation down to level following removal of vegetation.
At the AGM of the Talyllyn Railway Preservation Society, it was agreed that the shed will be known as "The Guest House" in memory of the late Phil Guest, a driver on the Talyllyn, whose legacy has enabled the work to be undertaken.
