<!—break—> The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway has suffered three catastrophes in less than a year and after initially reeling from the effects has, with massive support from all directions, started to pick itself up.
Now in January we suffered another embankment failure just north of Winchcombe Station.
The railway responded by taking a big decision to operate as two half railways offering distinctly different experiences with vintage DMUs operating out of Toddington and, after the successful repair of the first embankment failure, a steam service between Cheltenham Racecourse and Winchcombe.
