The Leadhills and Wanlockhead Railway would like to let all enthusiasts know that we are having a fantastic Diesel Gala weekend 23/24/25th May 2009. Locos in action will be Hunslet,Clayton,Moes,Symplex and Ruston. The normal service will be running at 40 minute intervals and the sheds and signal box will be open for visitors to have a good look around.
Goods trains will be running about the site and on the main line inbetween the normal service.
