I am trying to pin down the history of the 'Societe de La Meuse' but it would seam that the firm was an amalgamation (early European Nationalisation' of a number of other smaller Belgian Loco works. The similarity of this engine to the Sabero locos and other engines by Hainault and Couilliet is striking, right down to some small details.
