Here we see the line's original workshops. These are actually two separate but adjacent structures used to repair log cars, cabooses and work cars. This is the "woods" end of the lower shop.
They have now fallen into a shocking state of disrepair, and are quite dangerous to explore. However they remain a fascinating place, offering a glimpse into the workings of the last of the Californian narrow gauge lumber lines.
