End of the line for a Hudson wagon- once the skip was rusted out, the chassis and supports of a V-tipping wagon were normally still in a useable condition, and new skip bodies were purchased to replaced the rusted out ones. Many industrial locations have skip bodies littered around this site, like this one pictured at Threlkeld quarry.
