Re-creation Ghan Express 21 April 2007 at Saltia. Hauled by NM 25 which is a Commonwealth Railways version of Queensland Railways C 17 class 4-8-0. 22 were built by Thompson & Co of Castlemaine Victoria between 1925 and 1927 for the Commonwealth Railways (information from Locomotives of Australia, Leon Oberg, Reed Publishing , 1975)
