Not sure what you mean by stating that Kissack was broken up? It may have been dismantled, however the Engine Kissack was restored to service, and was a regular runner in the 1980's, was out of service for a while being a donor to GH wood, it has since been restored to traffic.

At current I think the Railways has more engines in working order, plus others earmarked for restoration to working order than at any time at least in the last 27 years!!!
The comment "No.13 Kissack in the sheds at Douglas. Shortly after to be broken up." reflects the site and explanation we had on visiting the engine. It probably fits the comment "was out of service for a while being a donor to GH wood", and yes we are now aware she is running again red livery and we're pleased to see that.
