Mennock at LH Groups yard near Derby after returning from the Lea Valley tunnel contract. The plate over the fan grille protects it from stones and also reduces the noise. The Hunslets performed so much better than the Schoma locos in the other tunnel with the result that they were retained a further 6 months longer than intended. Mennock will now be refurbished at Statfold Barn before returning to Leadhills.
