This view, taken shortly after the Ffestiniog Railway re-opened through to Blaenau, was shot from one of the slate waste tips of the Oakley quarry (Gloddfa Ganol). It shows the FfR main line from Tanygrisiau sweeping round to the left and the new BF station. You can clearly see the original FfR line to Dinas in the foreground.
