Description
Irish history.
Part of the famous Tralee to Dingle Light Railway (1891-1953), this section was restored. Visitors can experience the sensation of travelling by steam train from the special railway station at Ballyard. This departs daily, on the hour, during May to October. The railway is closed on the second Monday and Tuesday of each month for maintenance work.
Depart Tralee (near Aqua Dome): Every hour on the hour from 11.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. daily.
Depart Blennerville Windmill: Every hour on the hour from 10.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. in July and August.
