This view is taken along the mainline about half way between Tuolumne and River Bridge. The line appears intact for all this length, although in need of some repair. This section is most attractive, reminding me a little of the Corris Railway section through Ffridd Wood. The remains of the Westside run through spectacular and beautiful scenery. This line would make an outstanding tourist railway, if only the resources could be found to revive it.
