The Victorian Rlys ordered two Beyer Garratts which arrived in April 1926 to work some of the 2\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'6\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" lines of the Victorian Rlys. G41 was cut up in 1964 but G42 was saved and displayed at Menzies Creek until restoration.
