It took over 3 hours to reach about 6opsi at which point we got bored and rigged up a makeshift blower (length of galvanised tube connected to the air supply!) which took us up to full pressure in about 30 minutes - the water level had risen considerably by then and we all got a warn shower when shee blew off!
