Beddgelert and Elaine, the first twelve and a quarter inch gauge engines to arrive at Fairbourne, stored in the old engine shed in August 1984. Outside Sian stands on the turntable while the railway was still running as a 15 inch gauge line. Elaine was a model of a Leek & Manifold Valley engine. She was rebuilt into Russell soon after reaching Fairbourne - a shame since she looked very attractive as she was!
