Two trams on the promenade at Douglas on a very wet day in June 1968. The covered tram on the right, number 1, was only used during wet weather. Because of its weight it wasn't popular with the tramway staff nor, presumably, with their horses! It rained for nearly the whole week we were staying at Douglas so we had plenty of opportunity to admire number 1!
